In follow-up to my post titled, “Prim, Proper, and Upgraded,” I added a recipe for a Grapefruit mint conditioner. You can use this as a Pre-poo or leave-in conditioner.  If you desired to use it as a wash-out conditioner, just add 1/4 cup of castile soap to the mixture. I wanted to give you an idea of what the end result/texture should look like. Please note: I added a drop of wheat germ which gave the mixture the yellowish gold color that appears in the pictures.

Smells great and the results are amazing. Now go try it for yourself!

          The Recipe: Grapefruit mint conditioner

– Mix 1/2 cup of distilled water, 1/2 cup aloe vera, 2tbs glycerine, 2tbs cetearyl alcohol(after melted), 1tbs rosemary oil, 1tbs thyme oil, 1tbs vitamin E, 2 drops each of grapefruit and peppermint essential oil.**This makes 2-3 applications depending on how much hair you have.  Adding a teaspoon of Vitamin E will keep the mixture good  for at least two weeks. Feel free to ask me questions.
